From the Red Bridge you take via Bolognese and climb between two wings of beautiful facades, mostly from the 18th century, but some examples of the patrician residences are even older. After the ascent of Pellegrino you can see the facade of the ancient church of Santa Maria del Suffraggio, which is very interesting for its many original furnishes. At the stone there is another magnificent example of ancient architecture, the Villa La Pietra, an art work by Carlo Fontana; The real reason for the interest in the villa is the beautiful art collection of Sir Harold Acton and all the precious, typical Italian garden. The rare openings in the uninterrupted housing chain allow a great view, at the right the valley of Mugnone and the hill of Fiesole. After the slab you cross Trespiano, with the church of Santa Lucia which is originally from the 1200th century but it has completely rebuilt in the thirties of this century.
