LOCATION:

This beautiful apartment, built inside the tower of a 12th century monastery, finely and preciously restored, is located in one of the most ancient roman neighbourhood, the Suburra. Via Baccina is a quiet narrow road, under traffic restrictions, perfect for tourists looking for a peaceful and easy vacation. The property is located just a few steps far from the Roman Forum and the Colosseum, in a charming area, with lots of peculiar stores and candlelight restaurants. The very close metro(Cavour), the several buses, as well as taxis, stopping in P.za Venezia, allow its guests to move around Rome easily and fast. The apartment is on a very bright third floor with elevator, and is suitable for maximum five people.

DESCRIPTION:

The apartment three levels plant begins with a dining room and fully equipped kitchenette (dish washer, microwave oven, washing machine). A marble staircase, that leads you to the day and night area, where one sofa is turnable into a double bed, and an other one into a single. Two different bathrooms, one with shower, are also on this level. The double bedroom is instead on the third level, where an elegant wooden ceiling characterizes all the atmosphere.

AMENITIES:

Independent heating, air conditioning, hi-fi and satellite TV, make this apartment one of the most requested dwelling for a nice vacation. The apartment is fully equipped and linen is changed on a weekly basis.

ACCESS BY AIR

"Leonardo da Vinci" is an intercontinental airport located in Fiumicino, the 4th in Europe for number of passengers handled. It provides the traveler with modern services and facilities. It is 26 km away from the centre of Rome, in the southeast area and can be easily reached from the airport by public transportation and/or by taxi. At the International Arrival a Welcome Desk will be available.

Roma Ciampino airport is located on the Via Appia Nuova, 15 km from the centre of Rome. Airport available only for low cost flights

PUBLIC MEANS

Leonardo da Vinci - Rome Termini Railway Station
Time: 40 minutes (no intermediate stops).
Trains heading for Rome half-hourly each day, the train makes no mid-journey stops. Ticket from Fiumicino to Central Termini railroad station (one-way): fare EURO 8.80

Leonardo da Vinci - Rome Tiburtina:
Stops in different areas of the city among which Trastevere.Trains heading for Rome leave every 20 minutes during the working days, Sunday and holidays every 60 minutes

TAXI

Time: 30-40 minutes
Taxis are available at the international arrivals. Average fare to central Rome: Euro 46.50 Use only yellow or white cabs, with taxi sign on car roof (beware of unauthorized soliciting).

ACCESS BY TRAIN

Rome is the focus of the Italian railway network. Excellent Intercity service links Rome to every major town in Europe. Termini Station, the main railway station, located right in the centre of the city, provides swift service to and from all points of the Country.

ACCESS BY ROAD

Italy has 6,400 km of motorways developing a technologically updated network, which reaches all regions of the Country. Rome can be easily reached by road from the motorway network "Autostrada del Sole - A1", which is the longest Italian motorway going from the north to the south of the Country.

TRANSPORTATION WITHIN THE CITY

Several bus lines connect all areas of the city. The underground (Metro) has two lines, Linea A and Linea B. The two lines intersect at Termini railway station. Tickets, valid for 75 minutes traveling on the whole urban system (underground and buses), can be purchased at tobacconists and newsstands.
